I bought a pair of beautiful and comfortable winter boots from vagabond last winter. Everything was perfect until I got a big rash, ( a ring around my whole leg) in the place where the boots touched my skin. I was emailing with the customer service back and forth for a few weeks and there was no questions answered as to why I would get such a reaction, no responsibility taken and absolutely no solutions given except for asking me to return the shoes to the store I bought them from, not a vagabond store.
Months later I am left with scars on both of my legs where the shoes touched.
I will probably need medical treatment in the future to take the scars away. I’m very disappointed with the customer service and with the company for not looking into this matter further. This could be dangerous chemicals they use in their leather/glue that cause reactions. So please be careful. I will never purchase from this company again even though I think their product is very nice.

It was the first time I was ordering from Vagabond website. I had to cancel my order. To do so I emailed their customer service instead of calling because of the time zone difference ( I am based in NYC). I emailed them in mid PM and when I woke up the next day an email from their customer service was waiting for me, they were reactive and efficient, they cancelled my order and I received the payment back.

Bought a pair from Vagabond, barley used them before they broke down in the middle of a snow storm. Customer service was the least service-minded company I have ever had contact with. Rude, no compensation, and abdicated all responsibility from the quality of their own goods.
Buy shoes from Vagabond if you only want to use them once or twice, because they will break down and then they won't care.
Last time I ever made a purchase from Vagabond and I won't recommend anyone to do so, if I could have given 0/5 starts I would have done so.

I have had 2 pairs of Vagabond's boots for many years which I bought on my honeymoon in London. I could not find them in the US but was pleasantly surprised when I found them at Nordstrom recently and now see they have finally made their way stateside! Super comfortable, sustainable and fashionable. Will be a customer for life and my 3rd and 4th pairs (Cosmo 2.0 and Tara boot) are just as cute.

Terrible quality for mega price! Customer service is non avaible. When I try to make return label - I was received return label with return address DHL office in Germany - its not seller address!

I don't get the bad reviews here at all. I own a pair of my Kenova chelsea boots for more than 5 years, wore them every single autumn, winter and spring majority of the time. I still have them and only now they are starting to look a bit worn out.
So I decided to purchase another pair after such good experience. I ordered the new Cosmo 2.0 tall chelsea boots. They just came (in time) and they are fricking beautiful, fit very well and are true to size.
I also love that after you totally worn out a pair, you can bring them back to them for reuse and recycling, and they take in also shoes of different brands!
So to sum it all up, all of my ever owned Vagabond shoes were:
- amazing quality
- incredibly comfortable
- made to last for years
- true to size
Therefore I highly recommend purchasing from this brand, if you want long lasting, comfortable quality

I can give a review since I've owned 5 different pairs of Vagabond shoes... I love the designs so that's why I bought different styles years ago, and I always like Dioon boots with laces, they are comfortable and they look lovely even with flared trousers. Anyway, I have to give a really low rating since EVERY shoe (except from one sandal that was too big for me so I sold it and I don't know about the durability, it looked nice though) didn't last long or had some breaking parts. I've used my first pair of Dioon for years, but one day the sole came off from one side of the shoe, I had to throw them away because the damage was too much, but that was fair because I've used them a lot so I was still happy with them and I bought a new pair that after just one year, it's already "ungluing" on one side, like opening, I put some glue on and hope they will be fine for a while, plus it's really easy to scratch them. I had another pair of boots that after one and a half year lost the support of the heel, so I had to reglue it (I've luckily found it!) but I don't feel safe as I am worried they will break again at some event. Lastly, I own a derby shoes pair and the seam in the back is a little coming apart. What I can say is that I can't complain about comfort, otherwise I never would have bought so many pairs! I like the design too, I love how minimal they look and I do not deny that I would probably buy Dioon boots again, but only with a good discount... they really need to work on quality because they are clearly not made to last long and cost too much for the quality they offer, they are probably poor in some materials in the manifacture process. (I want to say that these purchase are mostly made like 3/4 years ago), only the new Dioon boots were a really recent purchase.

I have just bought my second pair of Vagabond shoes and they are just as AMAZING as my first pair.
My first pair, purchases last year was a cool Chelsea boot: super versatile and stylish with a good rubber sole which makes them extra comfy – I can wear them for hours at the time. The leather is beautiful and they look like new every single time I polish them (even a year and a half on, wearing them at least twice a week).
Following my amazing experience of the boots, I was on the look out for them to release the perfect penny slot loafers. I have found just that in their 'Alex W flat loafer'. Again, the leather is amazing, the rubber sole super comfy AND they fit like a glove.
Don't waste your time (or money) looking at cute shoes from random fashion brands: Vagabond truly are 'Shoemakers' and that makes a huge difference. Their products are well constructed and made to last, the price fair for the quality.
I would recommend Vagabond especially to people who are looking to minimise the number of shoes they own: a lot of their styles are super versatile, timeless basics that will elevate the most basic outfit and that you can walk in all day AND go to dinner in.
At this point I wonder why I would ever buy shoes from any another brand.
[I can see a lot of negative reviews below and just want to acknowledge that I have never purchased directly from their website and never had to deal with their customer service. First purchase was made in an independent retailer, second on Asos]

Completely unreliable communication. I have returned two orders - received refund for both but only received an email confirmaiton for one of the returns...
The same was the case with shipping notification

Terrible customer service. Order date was 4th of August and today is 23rd August. Have contacted dhl and vagabond both are not helpful at all. I want to cancel my order but VAGABOND has stopped replying. This is so terrible not happy at all.

Very unhappy with the unhelpful customer service and poor quality of the shoes.
I ordered a pair of mules from their www, which are the most uncomfortable shoes ever, I get the impression that the shoes are faulty as it is impossible for the leather flats to make my feet bleed in such w strange places.
Unhelpful customer service adds to my disappointment greatly.
I shall never order from them again.

Really disappointed with the Vagabond customer service & quality of their shoes. I ordered a pair of Erin Slides in Off White. It was clearly a returned pair, as the paper was all ripped. They arrived with marks on them, creased leather upper & overall finish not very good. I emailed their customer service the day I received them, didn't hear anything back even though their website states they will try to reply within 24 hours, it's been 4 days. I DM'd them on Instagram twice & still nothing. I will not be buying anything off them again.
